- No castigue al niño física ni emocionalmente.
- No decirle palabras hirientes como “eres un flojo”, “pareces un bebito”, etc…
- No lo compare con su hermano (a) o algún otro niño.
- No lo comente con familiares o amigos del niño porque lastima su autoestima. 24,25,26 y provoca ansiedad. 27,28,29
TRATAMIENTO
Está dirigido básicamente a cuatro áreas:
MEDIDAS GENERALES.-
Abstenerse de tomar líquidos 2 horas antes de acostarse.
Abstenerse de tomar a cualquier hora del día refrescos de cola y café.
Vaciar la vejiga antes de ir a la cama.
Dormir de preferencia con pijamas y calcetas.
Paciencia, Motivación y Apoyo.
EJERCICIOS VESICALES
Retener la orina el mayor tiempo posible.
Interrumpir el chorro intermitentemente hasta terminar la micción.
MEDICAMENTOS.
Imipramina, Oxibutinina44 y derivados de la hormona antidiurética (DDAVP ) 37,38,39,40,41
MANEJO CONDUCTUAL (ALARMA)
Demostrado como el manejo más efectivo a largo plazo. Éxito de 80%. 33,34,35,36,46,47,48
